AEON PROTECT PLUS is a 0.3% cross-linked Sodium Hyaluronate. It has been specifically designed for ophthalmic eye surgeons based on their patients’ requirements before and after eye surgery. It has a unique formulation, enhanced to provide an artificial tear for relief from moderate to severe dry eye. AEON PROTECT PLUS is the only eye drop indicated to treat before eye surgery.
AEON PROTECT PLUS is one of the first cross-linked sodium hyaluronate eye drops available on the market, which results in longer lasting lubrication of the eye’s surface. It is a lubricant eye drop solution with long lasting moisturising effect. It is suitable for use before surgery to address symptoms of dry eyes as well as after surgery to provide relief from symptoms of dry eyes. It is also suitable for relieving symptoms of dry eye caused by computer use, air conditioning, central heating or air travel. The eye drops are in a bottle specially designed to provide a sterile, preservative free solution. It is suitable for use with all types of contact lenses. Due to its longer lasting effects, AEON PROTECT PLUS is also particularly suitable to relieve symptoms of dry eyes at night.
